There is SO much broken in Illinois, much of it having to do with the political system here. It used to be, however, that at least the Democrats could play nice together. Now that is history, too, as The Gov and Michael Madigan lock horns.I am disabled and have to deal with the Illinois Department of Human Services, which is a joke. They are understaffed and really have no desire to help their clients. I have to fight for services on an ongoing basis. Digicel's success in a spectrum auction on Wednesday, Dec. 19th, 2007, will enable the company to operate a mobile network in Honduras, subject to Congress approval. Miguel Garcia will leverage his vast experience as a leader in the Central American mobile community. His past accomplishments include General Manager positions in BellSouth Nicaragua, and Guatemala as well as a term as Commercial Director of BellSouth Panama and Marketing Director of BCP (BellSouth Sao Paulo). In addition, Garcia has held senior commercial posts with Telefonica Guatemala and El Salvador as well as most recently with GM Wireless Operations Centennial in Puerto Rico. "Miguel's proven leadership and experience in the telecommunications industry position him to successfully lead Digicel to become a significant player in Honduras, which promises to be a very exciting and rewarding mobile market," said Donal O'Shaughnessy, CEO of Digicel's Central American operations.
TU's experience may be the key to title game win
Central Florida coach George O'Leary knows his Knights have much to prove.
Tulsa and UCF were both probably somewhat surprised and certainly unproven when they got to this game two years ago.
No one is surprised by this year's division champs. TU and UCF were among the favorites.
Yes, this game is different. Both teams have won enough games, enjoyed enough success that winning a league title isn't a stunner.
"On that given day, I thought Tulsa had lot more experience at the time," O'Leary said. "We were just in the recruiting stage of the program.
"We were just trying to bring in athletes that can run the ball and make plays."
Central Florida has done that.
Sitting in the midst of the one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in college football, the Knights have recruited well enough to put themselves at the top of Conference USA.
